Listening to these soothing ambient soundscapes on headphones, you feel as though everything around you is melding together.
By overdubbing new synths on top of reconfigured old (literally from the last century) records, I have created a sound as fascinating as it is hypnotic to carry the listener into a meditative state of mind.
In these tracks I threaded together recent recordings with those taken from 1996-1999 to cultivate a dialogue between the present and the past.
Both pieces that are as much sound collages as they are minimalist music compositions.
Use this music intentionally to relax, ease stress and even boost moods.
Brian Eno once said that “ambient music must be able to accommodate many levels of listening attention without enforcing one in particular”.
Ambient music provides infinite nuance for whatever mood you happen to be hosting.
